Instructions for installing the full version of Fraction Fonts
Installing Fraction Fonts on OS 9 or below:
To use the Type 1 fonts: After downloading and UnStuffing the HeFracT1.sit file, highlight the entire contents of the "HeFractions Type 1" folder and drag them into the Hard Disk > System > Fonts folder. Then do the same with the entire contents of the "TiFractions Type 1" folder.
To use the TrueType fonts: After downloading and UnStuffing the HeFracTT.sit file, drag the HeFractions.TT and TiFractions.TT files into your Hard Disk > System > Fonts folder.
Installing Fraction Fonts on OS X:
To use the Type 1 fonts: After downloading and UnStuffing the HeFracT1.sit file, highlight the entire contents of the "HeFractions Type 1" folder and drag them into the Hard Disk > Library > Fonts folder. Then do the same with the entire contents of the "TiFractions Type 1" folder.
To use the TrueType fonts: After downloading and UnStuffing the HeFracTT.sit file, drag the HeFractions.TT and TiFractions.TT files into your Hard Disk > Library > Fonts folder.
If you do not see the fonts (HeFractions and TiFractions) listed in the menu right away, then you need to restart your computer.
To avoid confusion, we do not recommend installing both the Type 1 and TrueType versions.
You can also use Adobe Type Manager (OS 9) or Suitcase (OS X) to install the fonts. In these instances, you should consult the user guide on how the fonts should be installed.
